Pricing update announcement for new customers

At MailerLite, creating a customer-first product is a marathon, not a sprint. Our product strategy is simple: we listen to our customers and only build features that they need to succeed.

This approach helps us develop better features that are easy to use while still keeping our prices competitive. In fact, we’ve been able to add more than 20 new features over the past two years without raising our prices.

As 2019 approaches, we’ve reached an inflection point where a pricing update is necessary to maintain our long-term investment in making MailerLite the most powerful, user-friendly and intuitive email marketing solution in the world.

Our new pricing WILL NOT affect current paying customers. Our customers are our partners in this long journey. They will maintain their current prices FOREVER.

As our prices change and new features are added, we want to make sure that you are aware of what we are doing and what it means for you.

Pricing change affects New Customers only

As we mentioned above, all current paying customers will not see a pricing increase. Even as you gain more subscribers and move up the pricing ladder, your rates will reflect the current pricing chart. (Up top! We are giving you a virtual high five.)

If you are a MailerLite user with a Free account and plan to grow your email list past 1000 subscribers, you can lock in the old pricing FOREVER by upgrading to a paid plan before January 1, 2019.

We never stop building features that you need

For those of you who have been with us over the past few years, you’ve seen our product growth firsthand. We started as an easier way to create basic newsletters, and each year we’ve added new features from Automation and Landing Pages to Dynamic Content and our reimagined Drag & Drop Editor.

As a result, MailerLite has evolved into a leading email marketing platform with advanced features made SIMPLE.

Our corporate values of focusing on our customers first and keeping things simple means that we never build unnecessary features. We are 100% focused on making something our customers love.

When we look back at all the features that we built over the past two years, there are two things that come to mind:

  1. Every product update originated from a customer comment, request or need.

  2. When did we have time to sleep over the past two years?  :-)

New Pricing Details

Starting January 1, 2019, pricing for new customers will be updated based on the table below. We will still offer a FREE plan for accounts under 1000 subscribers, but with limited features.

FREE accounts will no longer receive 24/7 live chat customer support, newsletter templates, auto-resend or delivery by time zone functionality.

There is a new paid plan for 1–1,000 subscribers that includes ALL Features, while all the other plans remain the same with a slight increase in prices.

Lastly, we’ve added three new special services that are available to all accounts for a monthly fee. The new services are premium customer support, custom design templates, and dedicated IPs.

Introducing Our New Premium Services

We are excited to announce three new services that our customers requested in the past, and now they will become a reality starting in the new year.  

Premium customer support, custom design templates, and dedicated IPs are separate services that you can add to your plan for a small additional cost. Because they are new services, both current and new customers will have to purchase these services if they want them.

Let’s take a closer look at these three upgrades to see if they are right for you.

1. Premium support

We are already well-known for our excellent customer support and that will never change. Premium Support is for users who want high-touch consultation for everything from importing to automation to analytics. We will offer dedicated personnel to help you 24/7, which means you’ll get priority support without queuing in line.

2. Custom design templates

Our in-house design team can help create custom templates built specifically for you. We can help you design content blocks, content automation and anything else you will need to deliver newsletters that represent your brand 100%.

3. Dedicated IP

Take control of your sender reputation by owning your IP which is only associated with your website. Instead of sharing the sender IP with other companies, you now have the opportunity to have your own. With this option, deliverability quality will depend on your reputation alone.

Our customers will always be at the center of our decision making. We are committed to investing our time and resources in the new product features and capabilities that will help you develop world-class email marketing.
