It's Day Six of

The Beauty FSIL Creates!

We are almost through our 8-day series, highlighting just a few of the ways FSIL is creating a more beautiful Haiti. Keep reading for today's feature!

Danta Bien-Aime is a 2014 graduate of FSIL’s BSN program. She was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to study at Harvard University Medical School, and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Global Health Delivery.

As part of her program, Danta is conducting research to more clearly understand the barriers and drivers to Cervical Cancer “See and Treat” facilities attendance among women in Gonaives, Haiti, and serves as the clinic director for a cervical cancer prevention clinic there.

Danta is choosing to use the unique opportunity she has to affect change and progress, bringing the health care workforce in Haiti closer to effectively treating and preventing one of the most prominent female health issues in the country.
