All the fun without all the calories and guilt! Dive in for a little eye candy!

September is a glorious month for many parents as they send their children back to school. It is also a time when weather and seasons change, bringing on  new inspirations.

Living in Northern California has many positives.  I am sure many of you that are buried in the snow during the winter months find yourselves thinking that we have it made.  The reality, though, is that we don't get a change of seasons like most of you do.

My favorite season is Fall.  I envy those of you that see the colors change in the trees, and feel the crisp air that only Fall can bring.

NEW ARTWORK ON MY WEBSITE!

FALL LEAVES

This is a piece of artwork that was inspired by one of my favorite trees from my childhood home in Michigan.  Fall was when it liked to show off, and what a show it was with all its vibrant hues of oranges, yellows and reds.  This maple tree served as a place where my sister and I would wait for the morning school bus. Its expansive canopy would protect us from rain, snow and hot morning sun.  The tree still stands today, but time has not been kind to my childhood friend.  Age progression has taken a toll on our tree, leaving it with fewer limbs and leaves.

THIS LITTLE PIGGIE!

The "This Little Piggie" series is not yet on my website, but is a work in progress.  The possibilities of this upcoming collection are endless.  I am pondering developing this also into a fabric collection, that would be wonderful for quilts, children's garments and kitchen and home accessories!  Stay tuned for fun and colorful updates on these delightful piggies!
