This giveaway is organized by MailerLite where the participants are entitled to win a book “Leaving the Base Camp” written by Ilma Tiki and MailerLite’s t-shirt. These MailerLite giveaway Rules (“Rules”) are applicable to MailerLite giveaway (“Giveaway”).
1. Eligibility
1.1. To be eligible to participate in this Giveaway, entrants must follow the process that is described in Clause 2.1 or Clause 2.2 of the Rules.
1.2. Notwithstanding the above, the Giveaway is not open to individuals associated with the Giveaway, including the employees, service providers, agents or representatives of MailerLite (excluding affiliate marketers).
1.3. The Giveaway is open worldwide, except where prohibited or restricted by national or local law.
1.4. If a potential or declared Winner is not in compliance with these Rules, MailerLite reserves the right to disqualify such entrant from the Giveaway and select an alternative winner.
2. How to enter
2.1. The participants using Instagram platform should follow MailerLite’s official account @MailerLite on Instagram. Once the account is in the participants following list, the participant should locate the post announcing the Giveaway on MailerLite’s official Instagram page and press the like button as well as tag another Instagram account in the comments. An extra entry could also be earned by sharing MailerLite’s post announcing the Giveaway on the participants' Instagram story.
2.2. Participants using LinkedIn and Facebook platforms should enter the Giveaway by filling out and submitting a form using this link.
2.3 Entering the Giveaway through both methods described in 2.1 and 2.2 is permitted and will be classed as an extra entry. If the same participant uses the same method multiple times, only the first entry will be recorded.
3. Participation period
3.1. The participation in the Giveaway starts at 15:00 AM CEST on 4th of October, 2023 and ends at 11:59 PM CEST on 11th of October, 2023. The period of this Giveaway can be extended by MailerLite solely.
4. Prizes
4.1. 50 randomly selected winners (“Winners”) will win a book “Leaving the Base Camp” written by Ilma Tiki and MailerLite’s t-shirt (“Prizes”).
4.2. Prizes will be sent by post to the addresses provided by the Winners.
4.3. MailerLite will contact the Winners in the way set in Clause 5.1 of these Rules within 7 calendar days after the Giveaway ends. In case the Winner does not answer and provide his address within 7 calendar days from contacting him, the Winner loses his right to receive the Prizes.
4.4 Using a dependable postal service, MailerLite hereby absolves itself of any liability for potential delays, damage, or loss of the Prizes occurring during the delivery process.
5. Determination of the winners
5.1. The Winners will be randomly selected using a name generator wheel. Mailerlite will inform the Winners within 7 calendar days following the conclusion of the Giveaway. For participants on the Instagram platform, MailerLite will reach out to the Winners by sending direct messages to their Instagram accounts, which were used for participation in the Giveaway. Those who entered the Giveaway through filling out the form provided on LinkedIn and Facebook will receive email notifications to the email address they provided when filling out the participation form within the same timeframe.
6. Disqualification
6.1. Any attempt to tamper with the entry process and interfere with these Rules, deliberately damage any website or undermine the administration, security or legitimate operation of the Giveaway, is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and MailerLite reserves the right to seek damages and / or other relief from all persons responsible for such acts to the fullest extent permitted by law, which may include banning or disqualifying participants from this Giveaway.
6.2. Offensive, discriminatory and inappropriate comments on any of the posts on the official MailerLite Instagram, LinkedIn and/or Facebook accounts will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification from the Giveaway.
7. Technology mishaps
7.1. MailerLite assumes no responsibility for entries that are lost, stolen, late, delayed, damaged, illegible, incomplete, or for the failure, interruption or delay of any email, social media platform or other communication to be received, for any reason; problems with the function of any website or website feature howsoever caused; the malfunction of, or damage caused to, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers; any functionality lost due to not having cookies enabled; traffic congestion on the Internet; the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer “hackers”.
8. Personal information and content material
8.1. MailerLite’s Privacy Policy, Security Statement and Cookie Policy provides information on how MailerLite processes and protects personal data in accordance with good industry practice.
8.2. By participating in this Giveaway, all participants agree and confirm their consent that MailerLite is allowed to process their personal data in accordance with the policies listed in Clause 8.1. The data includes name, surname, email, telephone number, address, IP address or any other personal information provided to us.
9. Disputes
9.1. These Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland in case the participant of the Giveaway is domiciled in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland or the state of Delaware if the participant of the Giveaway is domiciled in any other country. Any disputes arising under these Rules shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the previously mentioned jurisdictions.
10. Miscellaneous provisions
10.1. The Giveaway will be promoted and announced on MailerLite’s official Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts.
10.2. If for any reason, the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned, it may be terminated at MailerLite’s sole discretion.
10.3. In the event of a conflict between the Rules and any instructions or interpretation of these Rules regarding a Giveaway, these Rules shall prevail.
