Drive traffic to your social accounts by embedding social media posts into your newsletters using the post blocks available in our Drag & drop editor.
Find the five different social media blocks by using the dropdown menu in the left-hand sidebar and selecting Social and sharing.
How to embed a Twitter post
To embed a Twitter post in your newsletter:
Drag and drop the Twitter post block into your newsletter.

Click on your newly added Twitter post block to select it.
In the right-hand sidebar, copy and paste the URL of your Twitter post into the field labeled Enter social media post URL.
Click the green Return button.

Click Save.
How to embed a LinkedIn post
To embed a LinkedIn post in your newsletter:
Drag and drop the LinkedIn post block into the body of your newsletter.
Click the LinkedIn post block to select it.

In the right-hand sidebar, you’ll see a field labeled Enter embed post code.

4. Log in to your LinkedIn account.
5. Locate the post you wish to embed in your newsletter.
6. Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the post.
7. Select Embed this post.

A window will appear containing the embed post code. Click the Copy code button.

Paste the code in the Enter embed post code field in your Drag and drop editor and click the return button.

How to embed a Facebook post
To embed a Facebook post in your newsletter:
Drag and drop the Facebook post block into your newsletter.
Click on the Facebook post block to select it.
Go to Facebook and find the post you wish to embed.
Click the three dots in the top right corner of the post and select Embed post.

On the Embedded posts page under Code Generator, copy the URL of your post.

In the right-hand sidebar, copy and paste the URL to your Facebook post into the field labeled Enter social media post URL.
Click the green Return button.

Click Save.
How to embed a Facebook event
To embed a Facebook event in your newsletter:
1. Drag and drop the Facebook event block into your newsletter.

Click on the Facebook event block to select it.
In the right-hand sidebar, copy and paste the URL to the Facebook event page into the field labeled Enter social media post URL.

4. Click the green Return button.
5. Click Save.
How to embed a social media post without a pre-built block
No block? No problem! If you want to share a post from a social media platform that doesn’t have a pre-built block in MailerLite, you can make your own with the help of an Image block.
To make your own social media block:
1. Take a screenshot of your social media post and save it to your computer.
2. Drag and drop an Image block into your newsletter.
3. Click your Image block to select it.
4. In the sidebar, click Browse to open your File manager.
5. Upload the screenshot to your File manager and select it. This will add the screenshot to your Image block.
6. Copy the URL of your social media post.
7. In the sidebar, paste the URL of your social media post into the field marked Enter URL.
8. Click Save.
