Content localization
This role involves translating, adapting, and localizing a wide variety of English content into Polish, ensuring all localized content reflects the appropriate tone, style, and voice of our brand. This includes everything from website copy, marketing materials, video scripts, to newsletter copy, legal disclaimers, and application content.
Linguistic quality assurance & review
This role involves rigorous linguistic quality assurance (LQA) and proofreading of Polish localized content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to linguistic standards and style guides. Additionally, it requires providing constructive feedback to external translation vendors to continuously enhance the quality of Polish translations.
Cultural & market insight
This role involves being the Polish cultural expert, ensuring content is culturally appropriate, sensitive, and impactful by researching local norms and trends. It also requires ensuring compliance with Polish regulations.
Collaboration & Communication
Act as a key liaison for all Polish linguistic and cultural queries by partnering closely with content creators (internal team members and freelancers), designers, product managers, marketing specialists, product managers, and other cross-functional teams.
Native Polish speaker with fluency in English (written and spoken)
3-5 years of similar writing experience within an integrated marketing team
Must have website copywriting experience, such as product feature pages and landing pages
Track record of producing content that increases engagement and drives leads
Experience conducting keyword analysis and following best SEO practices while writing in-depth articles that are clear and enjoyable to read
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback
Good project management skills with a proven track record
Ability to receive feedback and act on it in a positive manner
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work with teams across multiple time zones and countries
A passion for email marketing, digital technology, and staying ahead of industry trends is a must
Nice to have/bonus skills:
Content localization experience: an understanding of the Polish market and the ability to adapt global ideas into focused local content
Experience writing or localizing ad copy for digital advertising platforms (e.g. Google, Facebook, etc.)
Managing content-related processes from ideation to publication
Experience living or working extensively in Poland
Yearly gross salary range: $36,000-$42,000
