Experiencing login issues with your MailerLite account? This guide outlines troubleshooting steps applicable to a variety of common scenarios to help you regain access.
Forgot my password
You can quickly reset your password here to get back into your account in no time.
Ensure you're using the email address associated with your MailerLite account. If you’re unsure, refer to previous notification emails or support correspondence.
To reset your password:
Enter your login email address.
Complete the quick security check.
Hit Send password reset link.
If there is a MailerLite account associated with the email address, you will receive further instructions in your inbox.
Note: If you’re having trouble with two-factor authentication, resetting your password won’t disable it. Follow the steps below to resolve it.
Can't access my 2FA
If you're having trouble with your two-factor authentication (2FA), make sure that:
You’re looking for the code in the correct authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, etc)
If you currently don’t have an authenticator app but had it in the past, redownload it to see if your accounts are still available
If you have the code but it’s not accepted, confirm that Set Automatically is enabled in your device’s Date and Time settings, as opposed to manual
If you still can’t reach the account, head over to our Contact us page and fill out the Account access and login issues form. Our Support team will assist you in regaining access to the account.
💡 Still have your recovery codes?
If you saved your recovery codes when setting up 2FA on MailerLite, use them to access your account. Once you’re in, you can reconfigure 2FA.
Not receiving login verification or password reset emails
If your credentials are accepted but you don’t receive login verification emails or the password reset email is not landing in your inbox:
Confirm the login email was entered correctly
Check if the email landed in your spam/promotions inboxes
Search for the sender email notifications@mailerlite.com in your mailbox
Add notifications@mailerlite.com to your contact or safe senders list and request the email to be sent again
Try using another browser or device
If you’re still having trouble, complete the Account access and login issues form on the Contact us page and our Support team will assist you.
Lost access to your email address?
If you no longer have access to the email linked to your account, just fill out our Contact form with both your new and previous email addresses. Our support team may provide additional instructions to help verify your new email, so we can get you back into your account.
Was my inactive account deleted?
After 3 years of account inactivity, your MailerLite account and data will be removed from our database. Closing inactive accounts and removing user data after 30-days is in compliance with data privacy best practices.
What happens when an account is closed?
When an account is closed, users will no longer be able to log in. The account and all associated data will be deleted 30-days after closure. This includes campaigns, contact lists, templates, credit card information, API keys, published landing pages or ads, and any other user data. Once deleted, the data is gone forever.
Deleting old data is an industry best practice that helps protect both user data and our systems. We notify all inactive accounts by sending an email 30-days before account closure to the addresses associated with the primary contact and owner profile.
If you are still having trouble logging in after trying the above steps, check MailerLite's support options.
