RSS campaigns allow you to connect your website's RSS feed with MailerLite. This way you can send automatic emails to your subscribers every time you publish something new.

There are two ways to create an RSS campaign. In the Campaigns area you can use the quick link from the Create campaign dropdown, or click Create campaign and choose RSS campaign from the menu above.

To connect your blog, enter the URL of your RSS feed. This is usually your website address followed by /feed. Then press Look up. Our feed address would for example be “”

Once it’s found, add the subject line and click Next to go to the RSS Settings. Here you can decide whether you want the email to go out a couple of days during the week, once a week, or once a month. Enter your email address in the notifications box if you want to receive an email every time the RSS newsletter is sent out. Our system will send the newest articles from your website to subscribers at your preferred time.

In the next step you can create the actual email. Choose the drag & drop editor to create your own layout or use one of the RSS templates. For this video, we will go with the Weekly Newsletter template.

Your RSS campaign looks like a regular campaign, the only difference is that the RSS has already been added. If you click on the RSS block, you'll see all the specific settings you can change. Add as many extra elements are you like. Once you’re done, click Done editing.

Now review the settings and click the Edit button to change something. Click Next once you’re ready and finally hit Send to activate the RSS campaign. Your campaigns will automatically be sent to your subscribers at the set time. While active, you can find the RSS campaigns in the outbox with the next send date. This date will be updated each time the campaign goes out.

Quick note: you must publish at least 1 new article on your website for your newsletter to be sent. If you haven’t added any new blogs, there will be no newsletter sent.

Please remember that your website content will determine whether you’ll see images in the RSS feed or not. If you have a problem with this and are using WordPress, you might have to install an additional plugin to show the images. There is a plugin called Featured Images In RSS Feeds that solves this.
