Frequently asked questions
What is MailerLite Bookings?

MailerLite Bookings is an all-in-one scheduling tool that allows you to manage 1:1 appointments directly within your account. You can offer free discovery calls or paid sessions, sync your Google or Outlook calendars to manage availability, and automatically trigger automations once a booking is made by adding attendees to groups.

How is this different from using Calendly or Acuity?

The main difference is integration and cost. Instead of using a third-party tool and "gluing" it to your email list via Zapier, MailerLite Bookings is native. This means subscribers are added to your groups instantly, with no risk of tool-to-tool data transfer issues. Plus, you save around $120+/year subscription fee for those external tools.

Does MailerLite take a commission on my paid Bookings?

No. We offer 0% MailerLite commissions on your Bookings. You only pay the standard transaction fees charged by Stripe, the world leader in secure payments.

Which calendars can I sync with?

Currently, Bookings supports direct synchronization with Google Calendar and Outlook/Microsoft 365. This ensures that if you have a personal conflict on your calendar, that time slot is automatically blocked off on your booking page.

Can I charge for bookings?

Yes. You can set up paid event types. The system handles the end-to-end checkout process, meaning the client pays for the session at the same time they select their time slot.

Can I ask custom questions during the booking process?

Absolutely. You can use custom fields at the point of booking to capture specific information (e.g., "What is your biggest business challenge?" or "Share your website URL"). This data is automatically saved to the subscriber's profile in MailerLite.

Are group sessions supported?

Yes! You can choose the option for a group booking when you create your product. . These are perfect for group coaching sessions, webinars and online classes.

Are Bookings available on the Free plan?

Yes,you can create one active event type for free. To offer multiple event types (e.g., a "15-min Discovery Call" AND a "60-min Strategy Session") an upgrade to a paid plan is required.

What payment processors are available?

Stripe is our payment processor as it’s the world leader in secure online payments.
