Create a MailerLite account and get approved

How to create a Mailerlite account and go through the approval process:

  1. To get started, sign up for your free account using our signup page

  2. Verify the email address that you entered at the start. You should immediately receive a verification link in your inbox.

  3. Complete your profile by filling out your company/business information

  4. Let us know how you collect subscribers by selecting from the options provided. If you want to add more information than what is available, select Other and let us know more about your subscriber collection methods.

  5. Explain the type of content you plan to send or include in your landing pages/websites. Ensure the information that you provide explains clearly what you plan to send in your newsletters or publish on your sites. 

Keep in mind, that your account will not get approved if your content is against our terms. Find out more about the type of content we do not allow in Section 9 of our Terms of Use here →  https://www.mailerlite.com/legal/terms-of-service

  1. Answer the remaining questions about your organization.

  2. Read the Anti-spam policy and check the box if you agree.

  3. Click Confirm.

You will be redirected to the Dashboard page. After clicking Complete on the Request approval step, you’ll need to add a website and verify your domain.

If you have a website with a paid domain that you own, choose the option I would like to verify my website and enter your website URL. Then, enter an email address that matches the domain of your website. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, then your email address should be example@example.com

If you do not have a website with a matching domain email, you can still request approval by choosing the option I don’t have my own website. You will be required to answer additional questions about your business instead. Your answers will be manually reviewed, so make sure that the answers are as clear and detailed as possible.

If your account isn’t immediately approved, you will find an email from MailerLite with the reason for your account’s disapproval.

Your account needs to be approved before you can start sending your newsletters.

We know that not a lot of people like filling out forms, but this helps us to speed up the approval process. The information also lets our system know that you are a trusted person. It will protect our servers, and make sure your emails are delivered to the inbox of your subscribers.

After you're done with the form, click the Save button. Then verify your website domain by clicking on the Verify website domain link. Now enter the website URL of the domain that you will be using at MailerLite.

The more information you provide, the faster your approval process will be. Once you are done with the last step, our system will review the request and send it to us for approval. This usually doesn't take very long — we also want you to send out your email campaigns asap!
