Integrating MailerLite with Shopify

Don't know which version of MailerLite you're using? Click here to find out!

To connect your Shopify store to your MailerLite account:

Start in your Shopify admin panel. Navigate to Apps and then click Visit Shopify app store. Search for MailerLite and choose the MailerLite email marketing plugin. You can also find it here → https://apps.shopify.com/mailerlite-email-automation

After selecting the plugin, you will be taken back to the Shopify admin panel where you’ll need to click Install app

Here you will be asked to connect and authorize your Mailerlite account. Click Connect to be taken to the login screen for your account, and you can authorize it.

After you’ve authorized the account,  click Select for the subscriber group(s) in Mailerlite that you want your Shopify customers to be added to. You can also create new groups.  A pop-up will appear that will prompt you to choose whether you want to sync all of your current customers or only the ones that opted in for your emails (post-GDPR it’s important to pick the last option).

You will now see the newly created segments in your Shopify admin panel. You can also see them inside MailerLite — just go to Subscribers, select one of your synced groups and click on Segments.

By selecting the MailerLite pop-ups option, you can create pop-ups using MailerLite and include them on any page inside your Shopify Store. No coding is required!

If you want to change the group used for your Shopify store, click on the top right Manage button and select the specific group. You can only use one group at a time.

If you would like to change your MailerLite account associated with your store, click Manage again and select Change MailerLite account. Now all you need to do is paste the API from your other MailerLite account.
