Connect your Shopify store to your MailerLite account to send more targeted emails.
In your Shopify admin panel, go to Apps and then click Visit Shopify app store. Search for MailerLite and click MailerLite email marketing. After selecting the plugin, you will be taken back to the Shopify admin panel where you’ll need to click Install app.
Click on the MailerLite integration page link below the API input field, this will take you to your MailerLite account. Copy the key, change back to the Shopify tab and paste the API key in the input field. If you’re not logged in, do this first, then go to Integrations and then Developer API. This will take you to the same screen.
After you’ve inserted the API key, select the existing subscriber group or create a new group that Shopify will automatically sync to. Make sure to click Select. This will prompt you to choose whether you want to sync all of your current customers or only the ones that opted in for your emails (post-GDPR it’s important to pick the last option).
You will now see the newly created segments in your Shopify admin panel. You can also see them inside MailerLite — just go to Subscribers, select one of your synced groups and click on Segments.
By selecting the MailerLite pop-ups option, you can create pop-ups using MailerLite and include them on any page inside your Shopify Store. No coding required!
If you want to change the group used for your Shopify store, click on the top right Manage button and select the specific group. You can only use one group at a time.
If you would like to change your MailerLite account associated with your store, click Manage again and select Change MailerLite account. Now all you need to do is paste the API from your other MailerLite account.
