Newsletter Submission Terms

MailerLite is curating a collection of design excellence to showcase high-quality newsletter examples created through the MailerLite platform. The primary purpose of this initiative is to inspire our community of customers and marketers by highlighting real-world examples of creativity and effective communication. By submitting your work, you are helping us build an educational resource that fosters innovation and best practices. By submitting your newsletter, you agree to the terms and conditions stipulated in these Terms (“Terms”). 

1. Eligibility. To submit your newsletter, the newsletter must have been prepared using the MailerLite Classic or New MailerLite platforms (the "Newsletter"). Both current and past MailerLite customers are eligible to participate in this initiative. To be eligible, the email address used for submission must share the same domain as the company featured in the Newsletter.

2. Grant of License. By submitting your Newsletter, you grant MailerLite a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works of the Newsletter. This includes the right to use your brand name, logo, and trade address as it appears in the Newsletter for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes across all media channels, including but not limited to the MailerLite website, social media, case studies, and digital advertising. Where commercially feasible and consistent with the format of the media, MailerLite will endeavor to credit your company name next to the Newsletter.

3. Newsletter Publication. Each Newsletter will go through an internal review and MailerLite, at its own discretion, will decide whether the specific Newsletter will be used and, if approved, how it will be used in marketing initiatives. 

4. Representations and Warranties. You represent and warrant that:

4.1. You are the sole owner of the Newsletter or have obtained all necessary written permissions and releases from the owner to submit the Newsletter and grant the license described above.

4.2. The Newsletter does not infringe upon any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other personal or proprietary rights.

4.3. If the Newsletter contains images or likenesses of identifiable individuals, you have obtained their written consent to use their likeness for these purposes.

4.4. The Newsletter was prepared using the MailerLite Classic or New MailerLite platforms. 

5. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MailerLite, its officers, directors, and team members from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of the warranties set forth in Clause 4 or your violation of any third-party right.

6. Privacy and Data. You acknowledge that the Newsletter may be made publicly available. You agree not to submit Newsletters containing sensitive personal data (such as financial information, home addresses of individuals, or private health data). MailerLite reserves the right, but has no obligation, to redact or blur personal information found within the Newsletter prior to publication.

7. Right to Remove. You may revoke this license at any time by contacting us via the Contact Us page which can be found here. Upon receipt of your request, MailerLite will make commercially reasonable efforts to remove your Newsletter from our website and future digital marketing campaigns within 30 days. However, you acknowledge that MailerLite cannot retract or recall materials that have already been printed, distributed, or published in non-modifiable formats prior to your request.

8. No Compensation. You acknowledge that your submission is voluntary and that you will not receive any financial compensation, royalties, or credit for the use of the Newsletter, other than the potential exposure provided by the showcase.

9. Reporting violations. If you notice that any of the Newsletters violate laws or copyrights, you can submit an abuse report here

10. Termination. MailerLite reserves the right to terminate or modify the Terms at any time at its sole discretion. 

11. Dispute resolution. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved by the courts of the jurisdiction applicable to the MailerLite entity responsible for providing services in the your billing address country. 


By submitting your Newsletter, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
