Birthday email workflow
Use the Birthday wishes template to surprise subscribers with a birthday greeting on their special day! Automatically send a reminder a few days before, then send them a personalized happy birthday message on the big day.
Setup
For this workflow, you need to collect subscribers’ birth dates. This can be done by adding a custom date field to your signup forms.
How do I use this template?
Go to the Automation page and click New automation
Select the Online course template
Choose a group for the trigger and select a custom date field (e.g. Birthday)
Select to use this date field before the birth date by 3 days and choose a specific time of day to trigger the first email
Click the first Email step to design your pre-birthday email. Give it a subject line, and click Design email. When you’re done designing it, click Done editing
Click the next Email step to design your Happy Birthday email
Save the step and turn ON your workflow
