Classic Free plans discontinued: What you need to know

Starting February 1st, 2024, free plans are available exclusively on the new version of MailerLite.

If you were considering migrating from MailerLite Classic, please be aware that this option is now only applicable to previously paid accounts, as all free Classic accounts have been closed and cannot be migrated.


What if you want to stay on the Classic version?

Only paid accounts will be able to use MailerLite Classic. However, we strongly encourage you to move to the New MailerLite so you can enjoy the latest features and product updates.

Are there any alternatives for free accounts?

Yes, you can continue to use the free plan on the new MailerLite. You can get started by creating a new account for free. Just follow the migration instructions to transfer your assets from your paid MailerLite Classic account over to the new MailerLite.

How can I move my assets to the new MailerLite?

Which assets can be moved to the New MailerLite?

Currently, the following assets can be migrated:

  • Subscribers

  • Templates

  • Files

  • Forms

  • Automations

  • Landing pages

  • Websites

  • Account information such as domains and company details.

Note: Some specific data such as subscriber information, campaign history, and group statistics, will not be migrated alongside your subscribers.

Is it possible to transfer previously sent campaigns from MailerLite Classic to the new MailerLite?

While campaigns stored under the Sent and Draft folders cannot be directly migrated, they must first be saved as a template using the following steps:

How to save your sent campaigns as templates:

  1. Navigate to the Campaigns section.

  2. Find the campaign you wish to save as a template within the Sent tab.

  3. Click the Copy button next to your campaign.

Now, you can find the duplicate of the sent campaign under the Drafts folder.

How to save your draft as a template:

  1. Go to your Drafts folder and click content on the campaign you want to save as a template.

  2. At the top of the screen, click on the Actions button and select Save as Template from the dropdown menu.

Once you've completed these steps, you'll be able to locate your saved template on your My templates page.

Will accounts that have add-ons such as SitesPro be deactivated?

No, MailerLite Classic accounts with a SitesPro add-on will remain active after February 1st, 2024.
