In the beginning of February, we introduced a feature that received lots of positive feedback from bloggers. However, it had a minor issue – lack of possibility to automate campaigns whenever you publish a new blog post.
Well, guess what – those days are now over! Creating an automated RSS feed campaign has never been easier.
With the new RSS feed automation, you can publish your blog post and it will be automatically sent to your subscribers. To make this process as smooth as possible, we have created a new campaign type – RSS Campaign.
Simply create a new campaign and select RSS Campaign.
Fill in the other fields as you would normally do and click the orange button. You will see RSS Settings.
Here you can set up the time and frequency of your RSS Campaign. Double check if the time zone is correct – you can change it under your Account Settings. You also have the option to receive immediate notifications when the RSS Campaign is sent. Simply enter your email address where you would like to receive the notifications.
Next, click Content. You can choose Drag & Drop editor to build your campaign or select our designed templates for RSS feed. Check out our previous post on RSS feed to see for tips on RSS template and RSS items block.
Once you’re happy with the campaign design, click “Done Editing”, select your recipients and check RSS Settings. When ready, click Send and it will appear in your Outbox.
Please note that once sent from Outbox it will appear there again, automatically scheduled for the next send based on your settings. Don’t worry, you can cancel the campaign from Outbox anytime.
We hope that this feature will make it easier for you to inform your subscribers about the new blog posts. Enjoy using it and don’t forget to send us your “RSS feedback”!
