Which plan is right for me?

MailerLite offers 4 plans:

The Free plan is a generous way to get started, with a real taste of the full platform. You get up to 250 subscribers, 2 user seats, and 2,500 monthly emails, plus campaigns, automations, a website, a landing page, and signup forms, along with all 3 email editors (Drag & drop, Custom HTML, and Simple).

The Comfort plan (starting $12/month) is the full toolset at the right size for solopreneurs and small teams. You get everything in Free, plus unlimited templates, dynamic emails, campaign auto-resend, multivariate testing, the unsubscribe page builder, preference center, AI writing assistant, smart sending, and more, with sensible sending and usage limits.

The Power plan (starting $25/month) is for busy marketers with several revenue streams and sales funnels: sending regular deals and updates, deepening relationships through personalization, and earning more directly through MailerLite. 

You get everything in Comfort, plus unlimited user seats, monthly emails, automations, forms, digital products, and bookings, multiple automation triggers, partner discounts, and 24/7 live chat support.

The Enterprise plan is a custom solution for businesses with over 200K subscribers that need dedicated support and services. Pricing depends on your active subscriber count and any add-ons. You get a dedicated success manager, dedicated IP (as an add-on), account audits and performance improvements, and deliverability support. Reach out through our contact form for details.

How do I switch to a different plan?

You can switch plans any time to the Billing and Plan tab in your account. Pick the plan that fits and get immediate access to your new features.

If you want to switch from an annual plan to a monthly plan, you can initiate the switch, but the change will not be effective until the annual plan has expired. Switching from monthly to annual is effective as soon as checkout is complete.

When downgrading your plan, you will need to wait until the billing cycle (monthly or annual) ends for the current plan, and the new (lesser) plan will start at the next billing cycle

How does pricing work?

Pricing is based on usage, not feature access. You pay for the number of subscribers you have and the volume you send. That's why our best tools are included on every paid plan, and your price scales as your list and sending grow.

Can I stack multiple discounts or promotions?

We can only apply one discount at a time. However, we do offer a variety of discounts including annual and nonprofit discounts.

How do you count subscribers?

Billing is based on the number of active subscribers in your account. This includes anyone with an "active" status. Subscribers who have unsubscribed or bounced don't count.

To keep things fair, we use a cumulative count within each billing cycle: this means any address that was active at any point during the cycle counts toward your limit, even if it’s deleted later. 

Your subscriber count resets once a month on your billing anniversary, set by the date of your first plan purchase. For example, if you delete subscribers on April 1st and your billing date is April 5th, those subscribers will continue to count toward your limit until April 4th.

What happens when I outgrow my subscriber limit on my plan?

For paid accounts, when the number of active subscribers exceeds the current subscriber limit, the subscriber limit will automatically increase and your credit card will be charged for the next pricing tier. You will receive a notification in your account when the limit is close to being exceeded.

For free accounts, when the number of active subscribers exceeds the 250 active subscriber limit, sendings will be locked (campaigns + automation). Clients will be prompted to sign up for a paid account, or they will need to remove active subscribers to regain sending ability.

How do we count email sending limits per plan and what happens if a user exceeds it?

Your monthly email limit depends on your plan and your subscriber tier.

Free includes 2,500 emails per month.

Comfort gives you 10× the ceiling of your subscriber tier each month. The multiplier is based on the top of your tier, not your exact subscriber count. So if you're on the up-to-1,000 tier, you get 10,000 emails a month whether you have 200 subscribers or 900. As your list grows into a higher tier, your sending limit scales up with it.

Power includes unlimited monthly emails, subject to our fair use policy.

A "send" counts as one email to one subscriber, so a single campaign to 500 people uses 500 of your monthly emails. Your allowance resets each month on your billing date.

If you reach your Comfort limit before the month resets, you can upgrade to Power for unlimited sending, or wait until your next billing cycle when your allowance refreshes. We'll give you a heads-up in your account as you get close, so nothing catches you by surprise.

Which features can I test during the 14-day trial?

Every new account gets 14 days to try premium features. For the full list of features, see our help article What is included in MailerLite’s 14-day premium trial.

What happens after the 14-day trial of premium features ends?

Every client gets 14 days to test certain premium features. Once this period ends, these features will no longer be available unless the account is upgraded. None of your data including subscribers, automations, forms, sites, etc will be removed from your account once the trial ends.

Can I send emails through the API or MCP server on the Free plan?

Email sending via the API and MCP server is available on paid plans. On Free, API and MCP access is limited and doesn't include sending.

How do you protect your customer's data?

Your data is safe with MailerLite. We never rent, sell, or otherwise share your data with third parties. In order to ensure all accounts comply with our Terms of use and Anti-spam policy, we reserve the right to monitor the lists, content, and response data of all MailerLite accounts.

By monitoring MailerLite accounts, we ensure that there is no malicious activity on our servers, protecting the reputation of our shared IPs and their users.

Where is MailerLite data stored?

Our data storage center is located in the European Union and has an information storage security certificate (ISO 27001).

Is MailerLite GDPR compliant?

Yes. MailerLite has all the necessary GDPR controls and procedures for personal data processing security.

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits?

Yes, nonprofit organizations receive a 30% discount on MailerLite's paid plans. To receive the discount, indicate that you are a nonprofit during your approval application, and contact our support via contact us page or via live chat with a document clearly showing your nonprofit status. For example, US nonprofits can provide their IRS tax exemption certificate, and European NGOs can provide any official government document acknowledging non-profit status.

Do you offer any discounts for organizations seeking multiple accounts?

We don't. Each account needs its own separate plan and billing.
